GTA 6 Radio Stations: All 6 Revealed Stations, Their Hosts and the New Podcasts
Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics: every GTA 6 radio station Rockstar revealed on October 8, 2026, who hosts it, and how the new on-demand podcasts work.

Rockstar has finally opened the dial. On October 8, 2026, the studio revealed the first six in-game radio stations of Grand Theft Auto VI on its Newswire, complete with audio previews on the official GTA 6 music page. The lineup mixes modern Latin, renegade country, African music, metal, pop and Southern rap, and the hosts are some of the biggest names in music: coverage of the announcement identifies Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey, Burna Boy, Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya, Robyn, Trick Daddy and Trina behind the microphones. On top of that, GTA 6 adds something the series has never had: on-demand podcasts you can listen to on foot.
Here is every station revealed so far, who hosts it, what it plays, and what we still do not know before the November 19, 2026 launch.
The essentials
- Six stations revealed on October 8, 2026: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics.
- More are coming. Rockstar has not given a total, and says the full lineup also includes formats like classic rock and talk radio.
- Flash FM returns from GTA: Vice City (2002), this time as a modern pop station.
- On-demand podcasts are a series first, and radio and podcasts can be played on foot through Jason and Lucia's in-game headphones or earbuds.
- Previews are live on the official GTA 6 music page at rockstargames.com/VI/music.
Every GTA 6 radio station revealed so far
| Station | Genre | On-air hosts | Reported real-life hosts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | Modern Latin | El Martillo and La Gata | Bad Bunny and RaiNao |
| Back Country Radio | Renegade country | MW and Delta Dawne | Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey |
| AfroBank FM | African music | Burna and Palmsy | Burna Boy and Palms Trax |
| The Chamber 106.6 | Metal | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom | Kerry King and Tom Araya (Slayer) |
| Flash FM | Pop | Robyn and Alex | Robyn and Alex Consani |
| Dirty South Classics | Regional rap and hip-hop | Trick and Trina | Trick Daddy and Trina |
A note on sourcing: Rockstar's Newswire post presents the hosts by their on-air names. The real-life identities in the right-hand column come from the wide press coverage of the announcement, and most are obvious from the names themselves. Treat that column as reported, not as Rockstar's own wording.
Cocoteo FM: Bad Bunny's modern Latin station
Cocoteo FM is the station for modern Latin music, and its range is wide on purpose: bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton all sit on the same frequency. It is hosted by El Martillo and La Gata, voiced according to reports by Bad Bunny and the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter RaiNao.
It makes complete sense for the setting. Vice City is Rockstar's take on Miami, one of the most Latin cities in the United States, and the real South Florida dial is full of exactly this music. It also fits what Rockstar already showed: Rauw Alejandro is one of the artists on GTA 6: The Album, the separate 34-track soundtrack release.
Back Country Radio: Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey and Mud Dog Mike
Back Country Radio is GTA 6's country station, and Rockstar describes its hosts MW and Delta Dawne as blasting renegade country out to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond. Coverage of the announcement identifies them as Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey.
The station also has a roving reporter: Mud Dog Mike, a self-styled swamp meteorologist who checks in from his airboat out in the Grassrivers. He is reportedly voiced by Jeremy Dufrene, Lana Del Rey's husband, a real Louisiana swamp-tour guide, which is about as on-brand as casting gets. The place names matter too: the Grassrivers is GTA 6's take on the Everglades, and Port Gellhorn sits on the Gulf side of the state, so this is the station for the rural half of Leonida's six regions rather than downtown Vice City.
Country was already hinted at before the reveal. Tammy Wynette's "Talkin' to Myself Again" plays in Trailer 2, as we covered in our breakdown of every song confirmed in the GTA 6 trailers, and Morgan Wallen also has a track on The Album.
AfroBank FM: Burna Boy and Palms Trax
AfroBank FM covers African music across the decades, from 20th-century classics and lesser-known gems to amapiano and 3-step. The hosts are Burna and Palmsy, reported to be the Nigerian star Burna Boy and the DJ and producer Palms Trax.
This is the station that stands out most from older GTA dials. Past games leaned heavily on American and British music, with only occasional detours. A dedicated African music station, hosted by one of the biggest Afrobeats artists in the world, is a sign of how much broader GTA 6's musical net is.
The Chamber 106.6: Slayer on the mic
The Chamber 106.6 is the metal station, playing decades of metal anthems from the 1980s onward. Its hosts are DJ Kerry and DJ Tom, and the names give it away: Kerry King and Tom Araya of Slayer.
GTA fans will remember that metal has had a home before, from V-Rock in Vice City to the heavier end of GTA 5's Channel X and Los Santos Rock Radio. Speaking of V-Rock, Jason wore a V-Rock t-shirt in Trailer 2, and Rockstar's confirmation that a classic rock format is still to come keeps that hope alive.
Flash FM: the Vice City classic comes back as pop
Flash FM is the one returning name in the first batch. In GTA: Vice City it was the 1980s pop station (the home of songs like "Billie Jean" and "Video Killed the Radio Star"). In GTA 6 it returns as a modern pop station hosted by Robyn and Alex, identified as the Swedish pop star Robyn and the model Alex Consani.
Rockstar has not said whether any of the original Vice City tracks come back, so do not expect the 2002 playlist. What it does confirm is that GTA 6 is happy to bring back legacy branding from the original Vice City, which is good news for anyone hoping for more returning names. If you want a reminder of how strong those older dials were, our look at GTA 5's cult 2013 radio stations is a good place to start.
Dirty South Classics: Trick Daddy and Trina
Dirty South Classics is dedicated to regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by Trick and Trina. Rockstar has not spelled out who is behind the mic in its own post, but the coverage points squarely at Trick Daddy and Trina, two of Miami's most famous rap names. A Vice City station hosted by Miami rap royalty is exactly the kind of local detail Rockstar likes to build into its fictional cities.
On-demand podcasts and radio on foot
The other big part of the announcement is not a station at all. For the first time in the series, GTA 6 features a set of on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia, on top of Leonida's terrestrial radio. Radio and podcasts can also be played in vehicles or on foot: the characters connect their smartphones to in-game headphones or earbuds.
That changes how music works in a GTA game. In past entries, the radio lived in the car and died the moment you stepped out. Being able to keep a station or podcast going while walking, swimming or shopping is a small change on paper and a big one in practice. It ties into the GTA 6 phone that Rockstar has already shown, which now doubles as a personal audio player.
What Rockstar has not revealed yet:
- the names of the podcasts and who hosts them,
- how many there are, and whether new episodes arrive over time,
- whether the podcasts are scripted comedy in the style of past GTA talk radio, or something closer to real-world shows.
How to listen to the radio previews now
You do not have to wait for November 19. Rockstar has posted short audio previews of all six stations on the official GTA 6 music page (rockstargames.com/VI/music). They give a feel for each host's on-air personality as well as the music. Note that the previews are the only official source for the songs: lists of "full GTA 6 station tracklists" circulating online are not from Rockstar, and we do not treat them as confirmed.
Radio stations vs. GTA 6: The Album
It is easy to mix the two up, so to be clear:
- The radio stations are the in-game stations you hear while playing, mostly made of licensed music plus DJ chatter, ads and talk.
- GTA 6: The Album is a separate, 34-track commercial release with Atlantic Records, out digitally on November 19, 2026 and on vinyl the following day. Its songs are original tracks inspired by the game.
Rockstar has not said which, if any, album tracks will also play on the in-game stations. The same goes for "Flower in a Hurricane", the launch trailer song by Justice.
What we still do not know
- The total number of stations. GTA 5 shipped with around 17 radio stations plus talk radio, and GTA 4 had 19. Rockstar says more GTA 6 stations are coming, including classic rock and talk radio, but has not given a number.
- Full tracklists. Only the previews are official so far.
- Talk radio. Rockstar confirms the format exists. Past games used it for some of the series' sharpest satire, so expect the same, but nothing has been shown.
- Returning names beyond Flash FM. V-Rock, Wildstyle, Emotion 98.3 and Fever 105 are all fan favorites from the original Vice City. None is confirmed.
With six weeks to go before launch, Rockstar is likely to reveal the rest of the dial in batches, the same way it revealed the first six. We will update this guide as each new station is confirmed.
