GTA Online MC Businesses Guide: Cocaine, Meth and Counterfeit Cash Ranked
Every MC business in GTA Online ranked by profit, from the Cocaine Lockup to the Document Forgery Office, plus the best buying order and upgrade priorities.

Buy the Cocaine Lockup first, then the Meth Lab, then the Counterfeit Cash Factory. In that order, those are the three MC businesses worth owning in GTA Online - cocaine pays the most per hour, meth is the reliable runner-up, and cash punches above its price tag once you own the right nightclub upgrade.
The essentials:
- Cocaine Lockup - best profit per hour, around $337,500 every 5 hours on a full remote sell
- Meth Lab - second best, around $258,750 every 6 hours
- Counterfeit Cash Factory - cheapest of the top three, and its sell value jumps once you own the Hands On Car Wash
- Weed Farm and Document Forgery Office - the weakest two, buy them last if at all
- You need an MC Clubhouse before you can own any of the five businesses
What is an MC business in GTA Online?
MC businesses are the five production properties tied to your Motorcycle Club: Cocaine Lockup, Methamphetamine Lab, Counterfeit Cash Factory, Weed Farm, and Document Forgery Office. Each one manufactures a product from raw supplies, stores it up to a stock cap, and pays out when you run a sell mission. They work the same way as the Special Cargo warehouses or the Bunker, just organized under your clubhouse instead of your CEO office.
You do not need to be an MC President to make money from these - the businesses generate product passively in the background as long as you own them and keep them stocked, whether you are logged in or not (up to a point). The catch is that every sell mission has to be run by the club president, so the workload does not spread across a full crew the way a Nightclub's passive income can.
GTA Online MC businesses, ranked by profit
| Business | Buy price range | Full sell payout | Profit | Sell interval |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cocaine Lockup | $975,000 - $1,852,500 | $525,000 | $337,500 | 5 hours |
| Meth Lab | $910,000 - $1,729,000 | $446,250 | $258,750 | 6 hours |
| Counterfeit Cash Factory | $845,000 - $1,605,000 | $367,500 (up to ~$496,000 boosted) | up to $258,750 boosted | 4 hours |
| Weed Farm | $715,000 - $1,358,500 | $315,000 | lower margin | 4 hours |
| Document Forgery Office | $650,000 - $1,235,000 | $157,500 | lowest margin | 4 hours |
Payouts assume a fully upgraded business, full stock, and a remote sell to the furthest buyer. Prices scale with distance from your clubhouse to the property, which is why two players can pay very different amounts for the same business.
How to buy your first Clubhouse and business
Open the Internet app on your in-game phone and go to foreclosures.maze-bank.com. Buy a Clubhouse first - prices run from $200,000 to $495,000, and every clubhouse is functionally identical, so the cheapest one (Great Chaparral) works fine. The clubhouse gives you the laptop you need to manage contracts, buy supplies, and launch sell missions, plus access to the President's office.
Once you own a clubhouse, the five MC businesses unlock on the same website. Any of the five can be bought independently once the clubhouse itself is owned, in whatever order you choose.
Cocaine Lockup: the best MC business in GTA Online
The Cocaine Lockup has the fastest production cycle and the highest payout of any MC business, which is why almost every guide puts it first on the shopping list. A full remote sell nets around $525,000 against roughly $187,500 in supply costs, for about $337,500 profit every 5 hours - the best profit-per-hour rate in the entire MC business lineup. Buy this one first even if it is the most expensive of the five.
Meth Lab: the best synergy with your Nightclub
The Meth Lab is the clear second pick, and it gets noticeably better once you own a Nightclub with the Pharmaceutical Research warehouse technician assigned - that tech converts nightclub popularity into extra product for the meth business without you lifting a finger. A fully upgraded sell brings in about $446,250, for roughly $258,750 profit every 6 hours.
Counterfeit Cash Factory: a sleeper pick since the car wash update
The Counterfeit Cash Factory used to sit in the middle of the pack, but it now overtakes the Meth Lab in raw profit if you also own the Hands On Car Wash in Strawberry. The car wash's MC boost adds up to 35% to every Counterfeit Cash sell, pushing a full remote sell from $367,500 to roughly $496,000. If you already have the car wash for its laundering missions, buy the Cash Factory before the Meth Lab.
Weed Farm and Document Forgery Office: worth it?
Both properties are cheap, but their sell payouts are the lowest of the five - $315,000 for weed and $157,500 for documents on a full sell. They are fine as a fourth or fifth purchase once you already run Cocaine, Meth, and Cash, mostly to round out your MC contracts and keep multiple businesses producing at once, but neither is worth prioritizing over the top three.
Buying supplies vs. sourcing them yourself
Every MC business needs raw supplies before it can manufacture product. You have two options:
- Buy supplies from the Clubhouse Management app for between $15,000 and $75,000, depending on how much stock you already have. No mission, just a roughly 10-minute wait for delivery. This only pays off once the business is upgraded with Equipment - a base-level lockup cannot turn $75,000 of bought supplies into $75,000 of product.
- Source supplies yourself by running a free resupply mission, which usually means driving to steal a van, boat, or truck and delivering it back to the property. It costs nothing but eats 10-20 minutes of your own time.
If your time is limited, buying supplies on a fully upgraded business is statistically the better use of an hour, since you can queue up a sell mission while the next batch of bought supplies is delivered.
Upgrades worth buying: Equipment, Staff, and Security
Every MC business shares the same three upgrade categories:
- Equipment (around $550,000) speeds up production and increases the value of bought supplies. Buy this first on every business - it is the difference between a lockup that barely breaks even and one that turns a real profit.
- Staff (around $195,000) speeds up production further. Worth adding once you can afford it.
- Security (around $285,000) reduces the chance of other players raiding your business for cash and product. It is optional if you mostly play solo or in an invite-only session, since nobody can trigger a business raid on you there.
Best order to buy every MC business
- MC Clubhouse - required before anything else, cheapest option is fine
- Cocaine Lockup - buy and fully upgrade Equipment immediately
- Meth Lab - especially strong if you already run a Nightclub
- Counterfeit Cash Factory - move it ahead of Meth if you own the Hands On Car Wash
- Weed Farm and Document Forgery Office - last, once the top three are upgraded and self-sustaining
MC businesses are one leg of a much bigger passive-income setup in GTA Online.
