GTA Online LS Car Meet Guide: Reputation, Prize Rides and the Test Track
The LS Car Meet costs GTA$50,000 to join and pays back up to GTA$40,950,000 across 1,000 Reputation levels. Here's how membership, Prize Rides, the Test Track and the daily Rep checklist all work in 2026.

The LS Car Meet is GTA Online's car-culture hub in Cypress Flats, and it earns its GTA$50,000 entry fee back many times over. Members grind a Car Meet Reputation system worth up to GTA$40,950,000 across 1,000 levels, claim a free Prize Ride vehicle every week, and get exclusive access to an underground Test Track. Here is everything it does and the fastest way to max it out in 2026.
The essentials:
- Membership costs GTA$50,000, paid to Mimi at the LS Car Meet in Cypress Flats, East Los Santos.
- Car Meet Reputation runs from level 1 to 1,000 and needs 999,500 Rep to max out.
- A daily checklist of 14 activities pays 700 Rep in about 10-15 minutes.
- Every level pays cash, from $5,000 early on up to a $1,000,000 bonus at level 1,000 (roughly $40.95 million total).
- The Prize Ride rotates weekly: finish that week's Car Meet Series challenge to claim a free car through the Interaction Menu.
- The Test Track hosts Time Trial, Head-to-Head and Scramble races, plus three free Test Ride vehicles each week.
What Is the LS Car Meet?
The LS Car Meet is a members-only garage, showroom and social hub built around GTA Online's tuner car culture. It opened with the Los Santos Tuners update and works alongside your Auto Shop: both share the same Car Meet Series races and the same Reputation track, so progress in one feeds the other.
Inside, you get a four-bay Mod Shop, a rotating vehicle showroom where members display their rides, a Race Organizer for street races, and the private underground Test Track. On PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC's Enhanced version, Hao's Special Works also sits here, offering HSW upgrades and dedicated performance races for a small pool of vehicles.
How to Join: Price and Location
Membership costs a flat GTA$50,000, a one-time payment to Mimi at the LS Car Meet in Cypress Flats, East Los Santos. There is no ongoing fee. Once you join, you get a Car Meet-branded outfit from the on-site clothing store, access to the Mod Shop, and your Reputation counter starts at level 1.
The location itself does not appear on the map until you buy in, so the fastest way to get there the first time is through the GTAweb / Rockstar Games Social Club app quick-join, or simply drive to Cypress Flats and look for the warehouse entrance.
Car Meet Reputation, Explained
Reputation (often shortened to "Rep" or "LS Car Meet Rep") is a separate progression track from your normal player level. It runs from level 1 to level 1,000 and requires 999,500 total Rep points to max out. Unlike most GTA Online systems, every single level-up pays cash, which is what makes grinding it worthwhile even before you touch the cosmetic and mechanical unlocks.
Key milestones along the way:
| Rep level | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| 1 | Car Meet membership perks and Euros trade price discount |
| 5 | Pursuit Series races, the highest-paying Car Meet race type |
| 10-30 | Progressive Auto Shop Contract unlocks |
| 20 | Private Takeover, the single best Rep source for solo players |
| 100 | Full vehicle trade price discounts across the board |
| 1,000 | The exclusive "Tuned For Speed" racing suit and a $1,000,000 cash bonus |
The Fastest Way to Grind Rep: The Daily Checklist
The Interaction Menu lists a checklist of activities that each pay 50 Rep on a 24-hour cooldown. If you check for the interaction menu button on your platform and open it inside the Car Meet, you will see something close to this list:
- Walk into the Car Meet
- Drive in with a personal vehicle
- Modify a vehicle at the Mod Shop
- Enter the Test Track with a personal vehicle
- Enter the Test Track with a Test Ride vehicle
- Complete one Test Track lap
- Test Track Head-to-Head
- Test Track Scramble
- Street Race
- Pursuit Race (unlocked at Rep 5)
- Sprint
- Drift Race
- Drag Race
- Start a Private Takeover (unlocked at Rep 20)
Clearing all 14 pays 700 Rep and realistically takes 10 to 15 minutes once you know the routine, which is why most guides treat it as the baseline daily chore for anyone chasing max Rep or better GTA Online money methods in general.
Passive Rep and Streak Bonuses
Reputation also accrues passively just by hanging around the Car Meet. You earn 10 points every 4 minutes normally, doubled to 20 points every 4 minutes while wearing Car Meet merchandise from the on-site store. It is a slow trickle, but it stacks on top of everything else with zero extra effort.
Visiting the Car Meet on consecutive days also triggers streak bonuses: 100 bonus Rep at a 7-day streak, 250 Rep at 14 days, and 500 Rep at 21 consecutive days. Missing a day resets the counter, so treat the daily checklist as a login habit rather than an occasional session.
Rep Payouts By Level
The cash side of Reputation scales up the higher you climb, which is the real reason to push toward 1,000 rather than stopping once you have unlocked Pursuit races and Private Takeovers.
| Rep levels | Payout per level | Subtotal |
|---|---|---|
| 1-100 | $5,000 | $500,000 |
| 101-200 | $10,000 | $1,000,000 |
| 201-250 | $20,000 | $1,000,000 |
| 251-999 | $50,000 | $37,450,000 |
| 1,000 | $1,000,000 (one-time) | $1,000,000 |
| Total | - | $40,950,000 |
Auto Shop Contract Preps (50 Rep) and Finales (200 Rep) also add Rep with no daily cooldown, so running Contracts alongside the checklist is the quickest way to push through the mid-levels without grinding races alone.
Prize Rides: How to Win a Free Car Every Week
Every week, a different vehicle goes on display at the Car Meet as that week's Prize Ride. To claim it for free, you need to complete the Prize Ride Challenge tied to it, viewable from the Interaction Menu while inside the Car Meet. Challenges vary: some ask for a single Top 5 finish in a Car Meet Series race, others require several consecutive days of qualifying results, such as placing Top 5 in the Car Meet Series four days in a row.
Once the challenge is done, the car is yours to claim through the same Interaction Menu, no purchase required. Because the vehicle and challenge both rotate weekly, it pays to check in every few days even if you are not actively grinding Rep that week.
The Test Track: Time Trial, Head-to-Head and Scramble
The Test Track is a private underground circuit exclusive to Car Meet members. You can drive your own garage vehicles on it, or borrow one of three free Test Ride vehicles that rotate weekly to try before you buy. It supports three formats:
- Time Trial: solo laps against a ghost car, chasing your own best time.
- Head-to-Head: a five-leg drag race between two players.
- Scramble: 2 to 4 players race to hit 20 checkpoints first.
Every lap and every mode completed on the Test Track also counts toward the daily Rep checklist, so it is worth pairing a Test Track session with a Prize Ride Challenge attempt when the two overlap.
Car Meet Series Races
Beyond the Test Track, the Race Organizer launches the full Car Meet Series lineup: Sprint, Street Race, Pursuit Series (locked behind Rep 5), Drift Race and Drag Race. These races share the same lobby pool as regular street races but only count toward Car Meet Rep and Prize Ride Challenges when launched from the Race Organizer inside or near the Car Meet.
If you are chasing the fastest cars in GTA Online for these races, note that Drift Races use a fixed handling profile regardless of your car's real-world top speed, so raw speed rankings matter far less there than in Sprint or Street Race.
The Mod Shop and HSW Upgrades
The Car Meet's four-bay Mod Shop is the only shop in the game that can fit Low Grip Tires to Tuners-era vehicles, on top of the usual performance and cosmetic upgrades. On Enhanced hardware (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the PC Enhanced version), Hao's Special Works sits alongside it, unlocking HSW upgrades and a small set of HSW-exclusive races for a handful of eligible vehicles.
Is the LS Car Meet Worth It in 2026?
At GTA$50,000 for a one-time membership, the LS Car Meet pays for itself the moment you clear your first daily checklist. Long-term, the Reputation track alone is worth close to $41 million in pure cash rewards, on top of free Prize Ride vehicles and Mod Shop access you cannot get anywhere else. Even players who are not interested in tuner cars specifically should join for the Private Takeover unlock at Rep 20 and treat the daily checklist as a five-minute add-on to whatever else they are grinding in GTA Online.
