It is official: Rockstar Games has confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI open on June 25, 2026. The rollout is happening gradually across stores, and several retailers have already put their listings live. Here is everything you need to lock in the right edition, at the right price, with the right bonus.

The two editions
Rockstar kept it simple this time. There are only two editions, and no physical collector's edition has been announced.

Good to know: the Ultimate edition is digital only, but you can grab the Standard now and upgrade to Ultimate later from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store.
The pre-order bonus: Vintage Vice City Pack
Anyone who pre-orders GTA 6, or buys it before November 20, 2026, automatically gets the Vintage Vice City Pack. This cosmetic pack leans into the neon 1980s and 1990s Vice City look:

A digital release will not sell out, but pre-ordering guarantees the Vintage Vice City Pack and, depending on the retailer, a cashback or store-credit bonus. Since nothing is charged until release and most stores allow cancellation, there is no real downside to locking in an offer you like.
