Wynwood Walls x GTA 6: The 10 Vice City Murals and the Artists Behind Them

Grand Theft Auto VI has not even launched yet, and its art is already on the walls of the real Miami. On October 13, 2026, Rockstar Games and the Wynwood Walls Museum unveiled ten new murals built from original artwork commissioned for the game, painted by ten street artists whose work also appears inside Vice City. Here is who they are, where to see the murals, and how the real Wynwood connects to the game's own arts district.

The essentials

  • What: 10 murals featuring original in-game artwork made for GTA VI, produced by Goldman Global Arts.
  • Where: one on the Wynwood Walls campus (by Tristan Eaton), nine spread across the surrounding Wynwood neighborhood in Miami.
  • Until when: on display until January 1, 2027.
  • The artists: ATOMIK, Tatiana Suarez, Askew One, DENIAL, FAILE, Gons and Audet, Lady AIKO, Queen Andrea, Ron English and Tristan Eaton.
  • The in-game link: GTA VI features an area inspired by Wynwood Walls called Stockyard, inside Vice City.
  • The bonus: free museum entry for every Miami-Dade resident through 2028, funded by Rockstar.

Everything below comes from the official Wynwood Walls press release of October 13, 2026 and the museum's own Miami-Dade page, plus coverage by Complex, ARTnews and TechWiser. Nothing here comes from leaks.

Why Wynwood, and what is Stockyard?

Wynwood is the former warehouse district north of downtown Miami that became one of the most famous street-art neighborhoods in the world. The turning point was 2009, when developer Tony Goldman opened Wynwood Walls: a set of blank warehouse walls handed to graffiti and mural artists. Today the museum covers a 62,000-square-foot campus with more than 35 murals and 10 sculptures, and its rotating roster counts more than 120 artists from over 25 countries.

Vice City has its own version of it. According to the press release, GTA VI "features an area inspired by Wynwood Walls - called Stockyard - within Vice City." Rockstar has not detailed Stockyard beyond that, so treat any map placement you see online as a fan estimate until launch. If you want the bigger picture of how the real city maps onto the game, our breakdown of the real Florida places behind Vice City and our guide to every known GTA 6 neighborhood cover the confirmed ones.

The important detail for this story: the press release says artwork from these ten artists is "featured in-game across the world of Grand Theft Auto VI." In other words, the murals in Miami are not generic promo art. They are the same artists you should spot on the walls of Vice City, alongside many more street and tattoo artists curated for the game by 1XRUN, a Detroit-based creative agency and public art producer.

The 10 artists behind the GTA VI murals

The museum has named the ten artists but has not published a map assigning each mural to a specific wall, except one: Tristan Eaton's piece is on the Wynwood Walls campus itself. The other nine are "located throughout the Wynwood neighborhood." Here is a quick guide to each name.

1. Tristan Eaton

The headliner, and the only one inside the museum campus. Eaton is a Los Angeles-based artist and designer who started in toy design (he is known for his work with Kidrobot) before becoming one of the most in-demand muralists of his generation. His walls are dense collages of faces, patterns and pop-culture fragments. He also designed the "Leonida" T-shirt in the official merch line, so the state of Leonida, not just Vice City, gets his treatment.

2. FAILE

FAILE is the long-running Brooklyn collaboration of Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. Their signature is a layered, pulp-poster look: vintage comic and advertising imagery cut up, repeated and weathered so it feels like a wall that has been pasted over for decades. That aesthetic fits a fictional city drenched in billboards. Their merch piece is a "Vice City Paradise" cap.

3. Lady AIKO

Japanese-born and New York-based, Lady AIKO was part of FAILE's early years before building her own career. She mixes stencil work, pop imagery and Japanese visual tradition, and she is already part of the Wynwood Walls family: the museum lists her among its marquee names.

4. Ron English

One of the original culture-jammers of American street art. Ron English made his name hijacking billboards and twisting brand mascots into satire, a style he calls "Popaganda." A satirical take on advertising is about as GTA as fine art gets, which makes him a natural pick. He is also a longtime Wynwood Walls regular.

5. DENIAL

DENIAL is Canadian artist Daniel Bombardier, known for sharp pop-art satire aimed at consumerism, advertising and media. His contribution to the merch line is a tote bag titled "We All Have Baggage," which tells you the tone.

6. Askew One

Askew One is Elliot O'Donnell, a graffiti writer from Auckland, New Zealand, who moved into large-scale portrait murals. His walls are known for bold, saturated color gradients that would look at home under Vice City's neon sunsets.

7. Queen Andrea

Queen Andrea is a San Francisco-based artist best known for bold, graphic lettering and typography. Expect words and slogans rather than portraits. In the merch line she signs the "We Love Vice City" beach towel.

8. Gons and Audet

Billed as a duo in the official artist list, Gons and Audet complete the international lineup. The museum has not shared a description of their mural, so we will update this entry once photos of the wall are confirmed by Wynwood Walls.

9. ATOMIK

The first of the two Miami locals. ATOMIK is a Miami street artist famous for his smiling orange characters, a cheeky nod to Florida's citrus identity that has been part of the city's walls for years. A local legend painting for a game about his own city is the kind of detail that makes this project feel less like an ad.

10. Tatiana Suarez

The second Miami-born artist on the list. Tatiana Suarez paints dreamlike, large-eyed female figures in soft, saturated tones, with nods to Latin American heritage. Her presence brings a very different, softer register to a project that otherwise leans loud and satirical.

Where and when to see the murals

Since nine of the ten murals sit outside the museum in the public streets of Wynwood, you can see most of them without a ticket. The museum is the place to start, though, since Eaton's wall and the rest of the permanent collection are inside.

Free entry for Miami-Dade residents until 2028

The murals are the visible part. The bigger community story is the admission deal, which Rockstar funds as "presenting partner."

  • Any resident with a valid photo ID or student ID showing a Miami-Dade County address gets free entry.
  • You sign up for a free digital membership online or at the Welcome Center. The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  • Residents can add family members under 18 to their membership.
  • It runs through 2028, during regular opening hours.

"Wynwood Walls Museum was born from the creative spirit of the neighborhood and the vibrant energy of Miami," said Jessica Goldman Srebnick, CEO and curator of Wynwood Walls, in the press release. "I am filled with gratitude to Rockstar Games for their visionary support of this initiative."

The Art of Vice City merch collection

Alongside the murals, Wynwood Walls opened pre-orders on October 13 for an exclusive capsule collection called The Art of Vice City, built on in-game artwork by 15 participating artists. It is sold only through the Wynwood Walls shop. Items shown on the museum's page include:

  • Tristan Eaton: Leonida T-shirt
  • Queen Andrea: We Love Vice City beach towel
  • AHOL: Eye Got You hoodie
  • D*Face: Hit the Road laptop sleeve
  • FAILE: Vice City Paradise cap
  • 1010: GTAVI water bottle
  • DENIAL: We All Have Baggage tote bag

Note that the merch involves 15 artists while the murals involve 10: names like D*Face, AHOL and 1010 are on the products but not on the mural list. That fits the press release, which says many more artists are featured in the game than the ten who painted walls.

Part of a much bigger Miami takeover

Wynwood is one stop in a wider campaign. The Miami Heat will play as "Vice City" on the eve of launch (our explainer on A Night in Vice City on November 18 has the details), and Miami Beach approved a $3 million ad deal after a tense vote, covered in our story on the Miami Beach campaign. Even the fast-food mascots made it out of the game: see the real Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell stands.

What sets Wynwood apart is that it is the one piece of the campaign that drew no visible pushback. Several outlets noted that while county and city deals stalled or sparked debate, the museum partnership landed as a gift to locals: free art, for residents, for two years.

What to look for in the game

Once GTA VI is out on November 19, the fun part is matching walls. Here is what we expect, based on what Rockstar and Wynwood Walls have officially said:

  • Stockyard should be Vice City's street-art district, mirroring Wynwood.
  • Work by these ten artists is confirmed to appear in-game, so expect to recognize styles: ATOMIK's oranges, FAILE's pulp collages, Queen Andrea's lettering, Ron English's satirical characters.
  • More street and tattoo artists curated by 1XRUN are in the game too, so the in-game walls will go well beyond the ten names here.

We will update this page after launch with confirmed in-game locations. Until then, if you are in Miami before January 1, 2027, the real walls are the closest you can get to Stockyard.
