GTA 6 Original Score by Justice: 30 Tracks on December 11, "Pusher" With Gesaffelstein
Justice's Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score lands on December 11, 2026, with 30 tracks plus digital bonus tracks. Here is what is confirmed, from the new single "Pusher" featuring Gesaffelstein to the CD and vinyl editions.

Rockstar and Justice have dated the second GTA 6 record: Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score arrives on December 11, 2026, three weeks after the game, and its new single "Pusher" features Gesaffelstein. Here is everything confirmed about the GTA 6 original score so far, from the track count to the formats, and how it differs from the licensed album that ships on launch day.
The essentials
- Album: Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, composed by the French duo Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay).
- Release date: December 11, 2026, on streaming services, CD and vinyl.
- Labels: Because Music, Ed Banger and Rockstar Games, according to the announcement coverage.
- Track count: Rockstar lists 30 tracks, plus "a number of digital bonus tracks" on every format. An Apple Music pre-release listing shows 50 entries, so expect the final digital count to be higher than 30.
- Formats on Rockstar's music page: streaming, a Double CD and a Limited Triple Crystal Clear Vinyl.
- Singles so far: "Flower in a Hurricane" (with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) and "Pusher" (with Gesaffelstein), released on October 29.
- Not the same record as The Album: the 34-track multi-artist compilation lands on November 19, the same day as the game.
GTA 6 original score: what Rockstar has announced
The score is listed on Rockstar's official GTA VI music page, next to the radio stations and the licensed soundtrack. The page credits Justice as the composers, calls the duo Grammy Award winners, and gives one date: "Coming December 11" on streaming, CD and vinyl. Pre-saves and pre-orders opened with the announcement.
What makes this record unusual for the series is its scope. GTA 5 had a score too, a collaboration between several producers, but it was never the headline. For GTA 6, Rockstar handed the whole original score to a single act and is marketing it as a release in its own right, with singles, a vinyl edition and a dedicated date.
According to the announcement coverage, the music is built to react to what happens in the game: it follows the story of Jason and Lucia and shifts with how players engage with the people and places of Leonida. Rockstar has not explained in technical terms how that dynamic system works, so treat any detailed description of it as speculation until the game is out. If you need a refresher on the two leads, our guide to Jason and Lucia, the GTA 6 protagonists covers everything shown in the trailers.
"Pusher" with Gesaffelstein: the second single
"Pusher" is the track that put the score back in the news. It is a long one, around seven minutes, and it is instrumental electronic music, darker and heavier than the radio-friendly "Flower in a Hurricane". Early reviews compare its pulse to the synth-driven soundtracks of top-down crime games, which fits a game about two criminals on the run.
Three things are worth knowing:
- It is a first. Coverage of the release describes "Pusher" as the first collaboration between Justice and Gesaffelstein, two of the best-known names in French electronic music.
- It previews the instrumental side. Where "Flower in a Hurricane" is a song with vocalists, "Pusher" shows what most of the score will likely sound like in play: tense, driving, made to sit under a chase or a heist.
- Its in-game role is unknown. Rockstar has not said which mission, scene or moment "Pusher" accompanies. Any claim that it plays during a specific heist is a guess.
Gesaffelstein (Mike Levy) is known for cold, industrial techno and for his production work with major pop and hip-hop artists. Pairing him with Justice gives the score a harder edge than the duo's disco-flavored records.
Flower in a Hurricane: the first single, already a hit
The score's first single came with the launch trailer. "Flower in a Hurricane" brings together Justice, Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and it has done well outside gaming: music press reports it reached No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100. We broke down the track and where it appears in our article on the GTA 6 launch trailer song.
Rockstar's music page lists it as a single from both records, the score and The Album, so you will not have to wait until December to own it.
30 or 50 tracks? Why the numbers differ
Two numbers are circulating, and both have a source:
| Source | Track count | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Rockstar's music page and press release | 30 tracks | The main tracklist, on CD and vinyl |
| Rockstar, same materials | "digital bonus tracks" | Extra tracks on every format, number not given |
| Apple Music pre-release listing | 50 entries | The full digital edition, as listed by the store |
The likely explanation is simple: 30 main tracks plus around 20 digital bonus tracks. Rockstar has not confirmed that split, and store listings can change before release, so the safe answer today is "30 tracks, plus bonus tracks". The full tracklist has not been published.
What the composers say
In a statement shared with Complex, Xavier de Rosnay said the duo "were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking". He added that the size of the game meant the music had to cover a wide range of emotions, genres and textures.
That matches what we have heard so far. "Flower in a Hurricane" is a big, melodic crossover song; "Pusher" is a seven-minute club track with no hook to speak of. If the rest of the score swings as widely, December 11 should be an eclectic listen.
Original Score vs The Album vs the radio
GTA 6 now has three separate music pillars. They are easy to confuse:
| The Album | Original Score | In-game radio | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who | Various artists | Justice (with guests) | Licensed songs and hosts |
| Tracks | 34 original songs | 30 plus digital bonus tracks | Not announced |
| Release | November 19, 2026 | December 11, 2026 | Inside the game |
| Formats | Digital, CD, vinyl | Digital, Double CD, Triple Vinyl | In the game only |
The Album features new tracks from artists such as Travis Scott, Cardi B, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards; our article on GTA 6: The Album, tracklist and prices has every confirmed song. The radio side is different again: Rockstar has revealed stations such as Flash FM, Cocoteo and The Chamber, detailed in our guide to the GTA 6 radio stations and their hosts.
The score is the music that plays outside the radio: during missions, cutscenes and the moments when Rockstar wants to set the mood itself.
Why release the score after the game?
December 11 is three weeks after launch. Rockstar has not explained the timing, but the logic is easy to read. Releasing the score first would hand players the emotional beats of the story before they have played it, and some track titles could hint at mission names. Waiting until after launch lets players hear the music in context first, and gives the record a second wave of attention during the holiday season.
It also means the score's full tracklist may be a mild spoiler when it appears. If you want to go in blind, avoid reading track titles until you have finished the main story.
Where and how to get it
- Streaming: pre-save links are on Rockstar's music page for the main platforms.
- CD: a Double CD edition.
- Vinyl: a Limited Triple Crystal Clear Vinyl, which, as with any limited pressing, may sell out.
Rockstar's page does not list prices for the score editions at the time of writing. We will update this article when prices and the full tracklist are confirmed.
