GTA 6 DualSense Controllers: Price, Pre-Order and Where to Buy

GTA 6 is getting two official PS5 controllers, and Sony is not printing many of them. The GTA 6 DualSense Wireless Controllers, one white and one black, launch alongside the game on November 19, 2026, at $84.99 / £74.99 each. Pre-orders opened September 10, and stock has already gone in and out of every major retailer within minutes.

What do the GTA 6 DualSense controllers look like?

Sony teased the pair during a State of Play, then gave them a full reveal on the PlayStation Blog. The white controller leans into Vice City by day, with pastel gradients and sun-bleached tones across a palm-tree grip texture. The black controller flips that into Vice City at night, wrapping the same palm tree texture in a neon finish with pink-soaked face buttons and an iridescent "VI" logo across the touchpad. Both are cosmetic reworks of the standard DualSense shell, not a new controller model.

How much do the GTA 6 DualSense controllers cost?

Each controller is $84.99 in the US and £74.99 in the UK, about $15 to $20 more than a plain DualSense. That premium is in line with what Sony usually charges for a licensed design.

When do they release, and when did pre-orders open?

Pre-orders went live September 10, 2026, at 7am PT / 10am ET. Both controllers ship November 19, 2026, the same day as GTA 6's release. Sony has been explicit that supply is limited, so pre-ordering now is the only real guarantee of having one at launch.

The white edition is the easier of the two to find: it is sold through PlayStation Direct and at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy and GameStop. The black edition is a PlayStation Direct exclusive, and it has sold out first on every restock since pre-orders opened. Do these controllers have special features?

No. They are standard DualSense controllers with GTA 6 branding, not a DualSense Edge. Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, the built-in speaker and the touchpad all work exactly like they do on any other DualSense. The only difference is the finish and the box.
