GTA 6 Vintage Vice City Pack: The Pre-Order Bonus Explained

Every pre-order of GTA 6 comes with a bonus called the Vintage Vice City Pack. It is a small bundle of retro-styled cosmetics, one classic car and one property, and unlike the big-ticket extras of the Ultimate Edition, it does not cost extra. If you plan to buy the game, it is worth understanding exactly what you get, what you miss if you wait, and which details are still unconfirmed.

This guide sticks to what has been described publicly by Rockstar Games and reported by the gaming press. GTA 6 is launching on November 19, 2026, and anything about how the pack will actually feel in play is our own expectation, based on how earlier Rockstar games handled similar items. We flag the difference as we go.

What is the Vintage Vice City Pack?

The Vintage Vice City Pack is the standard pre-order incentive for GTA 6. According to the coverage of Rockstar's pre-order announcement, it is built around a nostalgic nod to the 1980s look of the original Vice City, the setting Rockstar is revisiting in a modern form. The theme is pastel suits, sequins, tropical patterns and a classic American sedan.

It is also the one bonus that is not tied to a specific edition. Rockstar's wording, as quoted by several outlets, is that all GTA pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 are eligible for the pack. That means both the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition qualify, so you do not need to pay for the premium tier to get it. For a full comparison of the editions, see our guide on which GTA 6 edition to buy.

Everything reported inside the pack

Based on the published item list, the pack contains the following.

For Jason

  • A linen suit in a vintage pastel colorway
  • New hairstyle options

For Lucia

  • A red sequin mini dress
  • A curl hairstyle

Shared items

  • A '55 Vapid Stanier, a classic sedan (one outlet describes a two-tone finish)
  • A Shore Court Personal Garage, located on Ocean Beach according to one report
  • A Tropical Weapon Pattern for the Uzi

That is the whole list as reported at the time of writing. If Rockstar adds to it or clarifies it, we will update this page.

The cosmetics: outfits and hairstyles

The outfits are the most visible part of the pack. A pastel linen suit and a red sequin dress are a direct reference to the Miami Vice era that inspired the original game, and they fit the neon, sunburnt tone of the trailers. Rockstar has already shown that clothing, hair and tattoos are a significant part of the experience, as we cover in our piece on GTA 6 character customization.

What we do not know is how these items interact with the rest of the wardrobe. In GTA Online, bonus outfits usually sit alongside everything else you can buy, with no stat effects. Our expectation is that GTA 6 treats the pack the same way, as pure style with no gameplay advantage, but Rockstar has not spelled that out.

The '55 Vapid Stanier

The Stanier is a fictional sedan that has appeared throughout the series, so a '55 version is clearly meant to look like a mid-century cruiser. Pre-order cars in earlier Rockstar games tend to be mid-tier vehicles, not supercars, and nothing in the description suggests this one will be faster than what you can find or buy in the world. Treat it as a style piece.

An open question is how you receive it. Some bonus vehicles in GTA Online were delivered to a garage straight away, others had to be claimed from an in-game menu. For GTA 6 the details have not been published, which matters because the pack also includes a garage.

The Shore Court Personal Garage

The garage is arguably the most practical item in the pack. A personal garage gives you somewhere to store vehicles, and one outlet argues it could also serve as a safe place for stolen goods and weapon storage. We would treat that second claim as an interpretation rather than a confirmed feature, because Rockstar has not described the garage's mechanics.

If properties work like in GTA 5, buying real estate normally costs in-game money and often shapes your early game. Receiving a garage for free could save you a purchase, but it could also be a cosmetic location with limited capacity. We will not know until the game is out. For ideas on how to prioritize early spending once it is, read our guide to starting money in GTA 6.

The deadline: what you must do before November 20

The deadline is the key detail. Rockstar's wording says pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 qualify. The game launches on November 19, so in practice this covers launch day itself for most players, but the exact cutoff can differ by store and by time zone.

One outlet reports that for digital copies the cutoff is November 19 at 11:59 PM, and that physical pre-orders are only available while supplies last. We could only find that detail in a single secondary source, so check the store listing you plan to buy from before relying on it. The safe approach is simple: do not wait for the last evening.

If you are still deciding whether to commit early, our article on whether to pre-order now or wait walks through the trade-offs, and the pre-order announcement recap lists the editions and prices.

Will the pack come back later?

Rockstar has not said whether the Vintage Vice City Pack will be sold separately or reoffered after launch. Historically the studio has retired some bonuses while bringing others back, so there is no reliable precedent either way. If you care about these items, assume you will not get a second chance, and treat the deadline as final.

Related perk: the free GTA+ month

Digital pre-orders have also been associated with one free month of GTA+. That is a separate benefit from the cosmetic pack, and it is a subscription, so it can renew automatically if you forget about it. We explain how to avoid an unwanted charge in our guide to the free GTA+ month and auto-renewal.

Is it worth pre-ordering for the bonus?

On its own, no. The pack is cosmetic plus one car and one property, and you can get all of it by buying on launch day anyway, as long as you stay inside the window. The bonus is a reason not to buy after the deadline, not a reason to pre-order months ahead.

Pre-ordering does make sense if you want the preload, if you want to lock in a price, or if you want to avoid last-minute stock problems on physical copies. If you do pre-order, remember that you can usually cancel before release, as covered in our article on cancelling or getting a refund on a GTA 6 pre-order.

How to claim it without getting scammed

Because the pack is attached to every purchase, scammers will advertise fake "bonus codes" and "free Vintage Vice City Pack" downloads. You do not need a code from anyone: the bonus is tied to your purchase on the official store. Never pay a third party for it, never share your account login, and be careful with unfamiliar key resellers. Our guide on how to avoid GTA 6 pre-order scams lists the common red flags.

Quick summary

  • The Vintage Vice City Pack is a bonus for GTA 6 pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026.
  • It applies to both the Standard and Ultimate Editions.
  • Reported contents: Jason's linen suit and hairstyles, Lucia's red sequin dress and curl hairstyle, a '55 Vapid Stanier, a Shore Court Personal Garage and a Tropical Weapon Pattern for the Uzi.
  • It is cosmetic and convenience content as far as we know. Anything beyond that is unconfirmed.
  • Whether it will return after the deadline is unknown, so plan as if it will not.

We will update this guide as Rockstar publishes more details about how the pack is delivered and used in the game.
