The playable protagonists

Lucia Caminos

Lucia is the character the first trailer opens on: a young woman being interviewed in prison, with the promise of a way out. Rockstar describes her as having just been released from Leonida Penitentiary. She is the first woman Rockstar has written as a fully voiced lead in a mainline GTA, and the studio has been clear she is a co-lead, not a side option. Jason Duval

Jason grew up around grifters and crooks, spent time in the Army trying to leave a troubled adolescence behind, and ended up working for drug runners in the Leonida Keys. The supporting cast with official bios

Brian Heder

Brian is described as a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. He recruits Jason into local work and runs his operation out of a boatyard, alongside his wife Lori. He is also the only character tied to a confirmed actor, see the voice section below.

Cal Hampton

Jason's friend and Brian's associate. Rockstar's bio paints him as a conspiracy hobbyist who feels safest at home, listening in on Coast Guard chatter with a few beers. Expect comic relief with occasional real stakes.

Raul Bautista

A seasoned bank robber with, in Rockstar's words, confidence, charm and cunning, always looking for talent willing to take bigger risks. He is the most obvious hook for heist content, though Rockstar has not spelled out how he connects to the leads.

Boobie Ike

A Vice City legend who turned a street past into an empire: real estate, a club and a recording studio. He backs Only Raw Records, which ties him to the music side of the cast.

Dre'Quan Priest

A hustler moving from street dealing to the record business, co-founder of Only Raw Records, and the man betting on Real Dimez to land a second hit.

Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)

A viral rap duo who built an audience through short video and stage presence. Their earlier hit "DWNPLY" is the track that made them known, and the first trailer shows them dancing on a car during a street takeover. Minor and background names

Some names appear in trailer captions, social clips or bonus edition descriptions. Their weight in the story is unknown, so treat this section as a catalog, not a promise of importance:

• Lori: Brian Heder's wife, who works at the boatyard.
• Stefanie: the corrections officer who speaks with Lucia in the first trailer.
• Petra Navarro: listed in community trackers as the chief operating officer of the in-game company Megamundo.
• Wyman: an eccentric collector and fixer tied to Classic Car Collection content, according to bonus edition descriptions.
• Rudi: a name that appears on a social media clip in the first trailer.

Who voices them?

This is where the picture is thinnest. Rockstar has not published a cast list, and the two names fans usually repeat for Jason and Lucia remain rumors, as we cover in Who Voices Jason and Lucia in GTA 6?. The one exception is Stephen Root. In September 2026 the actor, known for King of the Hill and Barry, confirmed to the Associated Press that he is in the game. Outlets including Variety and Collider report that he plays Brian Heder, a drug trafficker in the Leonida Keys. Note that some outlets point out he did not name the character himself, so it is a strong report but still worth handling carefully until Rockstar publishes credits.

What is not confirmed

• The identity of background figures such as the party host from the Extended Look footage. Fans have suggested names, Rockstar has not.
• The full voice cast, beyond the single report above.
• Any villain or antagonist. Rockstar has not labeled one.
